Breakfast for Dinner.... Mmmm!

My husband and I decided that we were going to do breakfast for dinner at least once a week. He likes cooking breakfast foods, we all like eating them, but yet we don't feel like cooking them in the morning. So, every Friday we are going to have a different breakfast. Except this week it is Saturday because he worked late on Friday and didn't get to make it. On the menu was natural nitrate free bacon, organic potato hash browns (baked), organic free range egg omelets with organic cheddar cheese and homemade biscuits! Did I say organic enough in there? LOL We just feel dairy and eggs are important to be organic so that's why we had those. The bacon was not, but I am trying to find a good source for that. He made everything but the biscuits, and I made those. Here is the recipe I used, they are SO good!

Biscuits - From America's Test Kitchen (this is actually part of another recipe)
2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour (10 ounces), plus extra for the work surface
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon table salt
1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1. For the biscuits: Adjust an oven rack to the upper-middle position and heat the oven to 450 degrees.
2. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl. Stir in the cream with a wooden spoon until a dough forms, about 30 seconds. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured work surface and gather into a ball. Knead the dough briefly until smooth, about 30 seconds.
3. Pat the dough into a 3/4-inch-thick circle. Cut the biscuits into rounds using a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter or cut into 8 wedges using a knife.
4. Place the biscuits on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Set aside on a wire rack.

Step-by-Step: Two Ways to Shape Biscuits
For Rounds: Shape the dough into a round and cut with a biscuit cutter.
For Wedges: Press the dough into an 8-inch cake pan, then turn the dough out.
For Wedges, Continued: Using a knife or dough scraper (bench knife), cut the dough into 8 wedges.

Applegate Farms makes organic bacon. I would totally help you fill a case.

Oh I'll look into it next time. We have ton of this in the freezer for now, need to use it up, but when it's gone I'm going to try theirs I think! I tried to order it through PP but I think they were out or something you said, I forget!
