This was a new recipe for us. I liked it, but My husband didn't think it was as good as I did. I served this over rice and with broccoli. We also used 5 pork chops and the sour cream we used was organic/cultured so very thick, which seemed to make it a little clumpy. It might work better with regular sour cream. I thought it had a great taste, though.
(edited, we've had this several times since, and the key to getting my husband to really like it was to add more sugar to it. LOL I usually don't do that, but since trying it, it has become one of his favorites)

Sour Cream Pork Chops
4 Pork chops (3/4" thick)
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/2 cup water
Pepper -- to taste
Salt -- to taste
Salt and pepper the pork chops on both sides and fry in butter until brown. Mix together vinegar, sugar, water and pour the mixture over the chops. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer gently about 1 1/4 hours or until chops are tender. Add sour cream and heat to just under boil.
I serve it over rice to use more of the sauce and it is very good that way.
