Creamy Ranch Pork Chops, Broccoli, & Rice

So we made this again. I made some changes to the recipe though. Instead of the can of cream of mushroom soup or making my own, I bought an organic can of cream of mushroom. It was a bit more watery than normal cream of mushroom and had a lot of veggies in it. So I added that, and omitted the milk since it was thinner. I also didn't add the flour to thicken the sauce. Basically I browned the pork chops, added the organic cream of mushroom soup with the ranch packet, let it come to a boil and then simmered. We served it over rice (I did not add ranch to the rice) and had it with broccoli. It was really good! Here is the original recipe though.

Creamy Ranch Pork Chops and Rice
From Cindy mommy_of_love1
1 tbsp. oil
4 boneless pork chops
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 soup can milk
1 pkg. ranch mix
paprika
Heat oil in skillet. Add chops amd cook until browned. Add soup, milk and 1/2 ranch packet. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes. Sprinkle with paprika.
Tip: add remaining ranch packet to water when cooking rice.

This sounds really good. I printed a copy and don't be surprised if you see it again - of course with my mods.
Enjoy,
Heidi
